Is childcare provided?
Due to limited seating capacity, children are restricted from attending. We are not able to provide childcare for attendees, but maybe grandma or grandpa are able to watch them for a few days.
Are meals provided for in-person tickets?
Breakfast and lunch is provided on Wednesday and Thursday. We want you to experience Houston's variety of food so bad that we don't provide dinner for any night of the conference.
Where is Motion Conference hosted?
Motion takes place at First Church of Pearland in Pearland, TX. We are located in the greater Houston area.
Is Motion for me? I am just a volunteer.
Absolutely! Motion is for anyone who serves or leads on a team at your church. From Senior Pastors to weekly volunteers, like you.
Can I bring my whole church?
Not really, but we love your enthusiasm! We limit in-person attendees to 12 per church to give other churches the opportunity to attend. We actually have churches who send different people each year to allow all of their volunteers the opportunity to experience Motion.
What is the dress attire for the conference?
We say come as you are. Super dressy or super casual are both ok with us. But if you had to put a dress style to it, you can call it business casual.
Are the sessions recorded?
Only the general sessions will be recorded this year.
Is Motion available online?
Motion 2024 will not be available online this year. To ensure you and your teams fully engage with and understand all of the Motion concepts, we believe the in-person experience offers a depth that can’t be replicated online.
